Last Sat. I went to Bicester Village near Oxford to go shopping with the Chinese students' union crew. Unfortunately, I didn't buy shirts nor jeans or anything similar to clothing; instead, I only got 2 calendars because it only costed £6. You can see these calendars below...it was Great Britain sites and the Wonderful World themes! Certainly a good deal to get 'em while in the neighborhood. But what really irritated me was the long time that it took to get there and come back. The journey lasted for nearly 4hrs just for the bus ride time!! I didn't even do a lot of shopping because I don't have enough£ any also I don't need anything there. I wasted a lot of £ on stupid food there but I found that I needed to eat so I must get it. Overall, it wasn't too happy but at least I got those calendars...
Then @ night, I went to Victoria Park and saw the fireworks. The fireworks were presented in honor of Guy Fawkes, an assassin who attempted to assassinate James I in early 17th century. The park was full of people and was very crowded when I was there! Nevertheless, it was fun to get on the rides and visiting the ghost houses...very reminicent of 6 Flags! Anyways, I really enjoyed that night.
