This week supposed to be my busier week because I've got 2 essays that are due next week or so. However, these assignments can't prevent me from attending the Russian Society Party on Monday. Not only I got to eat great ethnic Russian food along with drinking shots of Vodka, Champagne, and beer, but I also met SO MANY HOT, BEAUTIFUL RUSSIAN GIRLS!!!! This is awesome! At first, I actually felt a bit timid because I don't speak fluent Russian. Yes, currently I'm taking a Russian module here @ Queen Mary. So I figured the best way to improve and learn my Russian is by joining this society. Thus, I could try and communicate in Russian with the Russians. It turned out too be quite a surprise for me because I remember back @ UCLA, the Russians would almost never even want to chat with non-Russians, they barely even looked @ me when I was about to approach them and saying hi. Well, I have no offense against ANYONE so I don't really understand the point of that. Anyways, here in London I met very friendly people who are open to others! For example, the girl in the above photo-Анна, she was also in my previous 2009/9/27 blog. Except this time, it was me and her. Don't we look cute together?!?! lol..yeah. I really love her and her Siberian eyes...remind me of Ксения Сухинова Kseniya Sukhinova the Miss World 2008 who represented Russia! They both are beautiful and charming!
Above: With another Russian girl...I didn't get her name though but she wanted a photo. Once again, shame on me for NOT asking for their names.
Above: Санта и меня Santa(pronounced s-ang da, NOT santa as in Santa Claus) and I @ the party. She's a charming Lithuanian who actually wanted to speak Russian with me throughout the time I'm there. I felt very pressured but was complacent with it because in the end, I'm the one who's benefiting for chatting in Russian.
Above 2: Aнна and her friends. Looking all too cute don't they?
Above: The other non-Russian in the party! Max the English boy and me. Unfortunately, I hated these photos from 1. It's 2 blurry, 2. Look @ my ugly face?!?! I couldn't even think of how my ugly face turned out to be like that?! It's humiliating! Well, fine. Go and laugh lol. I'm going to see the fireworks for Guy Fawkes Day @ Victoria Park!! I can't wait 'til I reunite with Anna and my other friends! Also there's NO LECTURES NEXT WEEK! BUT WE DO HAVE READINGS SO NEXT WEEK IS CALLED "READING WEEK" IN WHICH WE WERE ASSIGNED LOTS OF READING ASSIGNMENTS. But no worries because I'll finish it in a flash. Later!
