伦敦英国游览3 Canary Wharf 9/25!! Travel around London 3 Canary Wharf!!! 9/25

Above 2: From Docklands Museum of London! Londinium's history as the 1st port of London. Then statue of Pocahantas. Below: A large shape model of the Vikings.
All right kiddos!! For my next travel destination in London, I decided to take the DLR(Docklands Light Railway) to Canary Wharf in South London! Because I won a free travelling DLR ticket from our study abroad office, I decided to use it today before it expires. At first, it was difficult for me to take the railway; it's quite similar to the underground but NOT under the ground! Then lots of people are on the train as well(similar to China). When I got there, I didn't know where to go. So I just walked around until I found a map directory. I eventually found my way and took many photos!

Above: That's your hero! Haha..me in Jubilee Square in Canary Wharf.
Above: Robert Milligan, one of the leaders of the Britons who made contribution to the establishment of London.
Above: South Quay view of Jubilee Plaza and the tall buildings.

Above: Thames River view of eastern part of the city.

Above: Canada Square shopping mall. I didn't go there to shop.
Above: Looks like a mirror for reflection of a satellite dish...
Another building. My trip was wonderful. Though I travelled all by myself, I still had fun. Yes, it's very exhausting but worth it!

英国伦敦客车游览3 9/24 London bus tour3 9/24

Haha!! Here's my last set of London's bus tour!! It was definitely a wonderful yet unforgettable tour not only that I met new ladies as friends as you can see above, but I also managed to get good shots @ the city square!! Always good to take photos and share 'em with your loved ones! So above, from left to right: Clémentine of Paris, France; Liu Si(me) of China, Shenyang/LA, US; Анна of Moscow, Russia(yeah, my ideal destination to visit!); & Мария of Moscow, Russia as well. We're right in front of the Brit. Soldiers who patrolled this gate...but I don't know where does it lead you when you do get permission inside.
Above: London Muslim Mosque! Many muslims live in London; also other Middle Eastern/South Asian ethnic groups such as Bangladesh, Indian, Turkish, Arabic, and Pakistani. Ethnic groups are quite diverse in this city!!
Above: I took this photo NOT because of the Sponge Bob double-decked bus but what's to the left of it. If you tick(click) on the photo, you can see that London Metropolitan University main entrance is on the other side of the bus(violet sign).
Above: London Bridge during the day!! Reminders me of Arc de Triomphe.
Above: An oblique shaped building

Above 2: London Bridge, then St. Paul's Cathedral in the distance.

Above: London Bridge again; this time is far away shot through the Thames River.
Above: I forgot again! Why?! It's probably a museum. But what's behind it, the "rocket" shaped building. That's the Gherkin!! According to the tour guide, it's a financial center for Swiss banks.

Above: Nelson Mandeela statue.
Above: Clock Tower. Sorry the image is horrible because the bus was in motion

Above: Ripley's museum to the left. Everything goes well for me here in London!

Bus tour photos continue! My 3rd set of our bus tour of London. We got off the bus and took some photo in a very historic square. You can see from the above photo that I'm by the gate of an enormous park, St.James park I think, similar to Central Park. Then there are some street shots of London, very similar to Shenyang again. But everything looks western.

Above 2: 1 of the London city squares. I don't remember what it was, have to look it up again. But it surely was beautiful!

Above 2: Ah!! I think I remembered now! It was the governing council square in which that architecture was settled.
Above: I love this tiny garden by the gate of that park!

Above 2: Governance Council Square of London. Looks very much like Zhongshan Square in Shenyang.
Above: No entry gate that was guarded by the real British guards!

Above 2: And here they are!! The real British Redcoat Guards!! Looking quite stiff and rigid.
Above: A very big park near by the governance council square
So my trip here in London was perhaps the most wonderful, fascinating, intriguing, and memorable 1 for the century!! I will post more photos of my destinations soon. I plan to go to the museum tomorrow then do some shopping too! There's too little time for me to explore every part of the city! But I do my best while NOT in class.

9/24, 伦敦客车游览1!! 9/24, London city bus tour1

Above: Knights' statue
Hey y'all!! More photos from London!! I went on the bus tour on Thur. It was such an awesome tour of the city! Despite how bad my photos turned out to be because of driving while trying to take photos, these photos showed the marvelous architectures in London!!

1. That's the Caviar House; doesn't remind you of something familiar. 2. I think that's 1 of the great parks of London! I forgot the name, I know it's NOT Regent nor Victoria. But another 1.

Above: One of the arc gates that leads to the park

Above: Regent's Park entrance, I'm sure.
Looks like a church with the compass like arrows on the top

Above: HAHA!! It's the red clock tower again!

Above: Statue of William Huges. Reminds me of Abraham Lincoln.
Our bus tour was definitely another very exciting moment of London's tour. Like the Boat Cruise, this 1 also introduces the city to us in a comprehensive and well-organised way. Thus, I really loved our bus tour. Not to mention I'm in a very friendly environment while touring. For more of my photos of my friends and other artifacts, please wait for the next blog! It will come shortly!
