Hi everyone! First and foremost, I'd like to wish Richard Clayderman, the most profound influential musician of China, a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! He's 55 now and still looked healthy and handsome!! His concert is perhaps the best in the piano world! So here are his photos! 1st photo it's him(Richard Clayderman) in the middle and his accompaniment beautiful Chinese ladies musicians!! He looked handsome with the ladies and especially in red for the New Year!! Then the 2nd one it's when he was playing a melody during the show, I think it's Give a little time to your love a very lovely melody that I heard it since birth. When he plays the piano, it seemed he always know what to do after each melody was played. He had very long hands and quite agile too. So he can play the piano really easily. All of the songs had a little change from the older version but I love it whether it's the same or different. #3 it's in the screen in the hall; this one delineates Richard Clayderman playing piano along with a Chinese girl since 1998! So it's been a while for us to see how young he looked back then. #4, the Red Star of the Great Hall of the People 人民大会堂. This hall it's most famous for meetings of gov. officials in China; it's also for numerous spectacular performances such as the Richard Clayderman concert and other performance! So quite prominent to see the Hall! #5 it's me in front of the Great Hall of the People right before the show. Yes, I tried to comb my hair and put chapstick on my lips so I looked good to see Clayderman!
Next 4 are from 故宫(紫禁城) Forbidden City. I took a 3 hour tour to see the numerous palaces of here. 1st of these it's me by the lion head, bronze cups that are as heavy as metals. These cups are used to store water so if the palace is caught on fire, it could act as a fire hydrant. Behind me are the other palaces for the relatives of the emperor. #7 it's the back side of the Forbidden City, I posed by the 3km river outside of the city; very majestic view because the river is frozen during winter! So it might look very different from the summer. #8 it's me posing on 太和门(Tai he men gate) right before Taihe Hall太和殿. These Hall and gate are very special for the emperor; it represents how enormous the emperor's home is. #9 it's me on a bridge to 午门(Wumen Gate) right before the real place to see the emperor's home. Wumen it's the real gate that lead you to the home of the emperor, so it's quite a long way to even walk there. Inside the gates, I also saw other exhibits such as the bedroom of the emperor and his mistresses. So it was a very ambitious time for me to explore Forbidden City again! I remember the 1st time I came here since 1998 when I was 10. But now to see it as an adult, it's quite historical and knowledgable for me to learn about the history of China and its establishments.
Finally, the last one it's another photo from 12/26, I took it under a Christmas tree that flashes @ night! I'll have more photos coming because today I went to 鸟巢(Bird's Nest Olympic Stadium)! So wait and see me!
