我的新闻My news

Recently, I had nothing interesting to do but waiting to depart for China. I will leave in less than a week now and still have so much thoughts on that...when I get to China, I'll rendezvous with my father and his family again! I can't wait. Meanwhile, I'm still desperately trying to get employed. Unfortunately, I'm still NOT chosen. I felt quite sad but I can't do anything but to wait. That will soon end. I've sacrificed WAY TOO MUCH FOR THESE JOBS! HONESTLY I TOOK THE BUS EVERYWHERE I GO TO FIND EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES! I SACRIFICED SO MUCH TIME AND ENERGY FOR THESE PLACES. BUT NONE OF THESE PLACES WANTED TO EMPLOY ME FOR A LONG TERM POSITION!!! I really felt irritated! On the bright side, I hope my travel/tourism classes will provide me the future suitable career in which I can develop. All hope is in my hands!

Here are the simple updated agenda:

11 August: Depart for China
12--28 August: China trip. Shanghai and Shenyang.
30 August--14 December: Travel/Tourism classes @ Saddleback College
15 December: Planned departure date for China again.
16--31 December: China trip again. Harbin, Beijing, Nanjing etc.

八月贴子 August blog

My studies @ UCLA had finally came to an end! I finished the last class that I took on Wed & finished the final exam essays. I'm officially on a 4 week vacation until my autumn travel/tourism modules start on 30 August, Summer Bank Holiday in the UK. Recently I'm still struggling finding a job nearby my town; unfortunately, I couldn't find a suitable and stable job. This is very agonizing. I really hope I can find it soon so I can financially support myself. If all else fails, I have no choice but to stay home and pray to God that I can find it. At any case, I'll find a way to raise my revenue and raise myself to become independent.

I'll leave for China real soon. I'll leave on 11 August & arrive in Shanghai on 12 August around 18.00. I'll return to LA on 28 August then start my new plans for life. While in China, I'll visit my family and friends then seek for Russian Language classes there. I know that there are lots of Russian speaking particularly in the Northeast of China. So it's a good idea to find out about the classes they teach to enhance my Russian language proficiency.

The new photos indicate my new student ID card. This card is very useful because it not only gives me travel, telephone discounts, but also established my identity as an international student which I am!! Hence, I truly felt happy with my new ID card! I ought to treasure it like if is my souvenir.

七月中旬和新目标 Mid-July and a new goal

Recently I'm in my summer session classes. We only have 2 more weeks left then I will prepare to leave for China. My only frustration is unemployment; I've been seeking for over 6 months now and none of the places wanted to hire me. I honestly couldn't believe how irritating this can be. What's the point to stay here if you can't even find a job?! As a result, I wanted to move as soon as I finish my Travel Certificate Programme next year. I hope I can move to Canada or UK in search of better opportunities for my personal growth.

Above are 2 recent photos. I will take more during my trip to China.

再见了六月,你好七月Good bye June, hello July

June is finally coming to an end. During this month, I didn't go to anywhere I wanted but stayed in school and desperately seeking a job. I did find one nevertheless; it was in an office in which I need to call patients to come to the health massage centre for check-ups. Sounds much easier but very hard to secure the appointments. No matter what, I still managed to succeed! At least money is NOT an issue now. As I said, I shall depart for China in August.

School is alright; we had a map quiz on Southeast Asia on Mon. Then today another quiz on the Map of Vietnam. This shouldn't be very hard if I study so that's good. I think I can get a good mark for the module. It ends 28 July so I need to finish ALL my critique assignments before that day.

I hope I can do more interesting things in July such as hanging out with my former friends. I'm also eager to meet new international students around the community! I myself is an international student so I definitely wanted to sharpen and develop a strong tie with the other students. Let's hope everything is ok. Speaking of International students, I'll get an ISIC Card!! An international Student ID Card that will benefit me wherever I go!!

Finally, I went out with my friend Jose on Sat last week. We first watched the World Cup game USA vs. Ghana in which USA was defeated(haha suckers). Ghana advanced to the quarterfinals; this nation is proud to represent Africa in South Africa!! Good luck with them. I'm rooting for Brasil now since England got owned big time by Germany(1:4)(: So I can't wait 'til the final match on 11 July. Anyways, Jose & I were in a bar and watching the Americans lose. Afterwards, we went to Fashion Island then Balboa Island and toured around. He really liked the island, and I felt happy! It's so good to reunite with your friend after a long time of departure. We shall do that often!

又上课了,心情。School again/mood

As many of you know if you read my schedule, I'm currently taking a summer class @ UCLA, a history module that I need to complete for the B.A degree. So I feel a bit busy at the moment but I think it's very beneficial since I'm NOT yet employed. I know it's so frustrating to be like this but I can't do anything about it...very sad.

I recently become happier because of school, a new plan for my career, and friends' support! I think I'll become even happier in the upcoming months because I will be taking my Travel/Tourism modules! I love travelling so much that I'd travel around the world all the time and learn about other cultures. I hope one day I can become a travel/tour guide or an airline staff(agents) etc.

Without any further a due, here are my new schedule & events:

21 June--28 July: Summer session module period
11 August--28 August: China trip! To Beijing, Shenyang, & Shanghai
30 August--15 December: Taking Travel/Tourism courses @ local college & work
16 December--31 December: Return to China again! To Beijing, Harbin, Xi'an, Chengdu and other great cities.

我的目前新闻 My Recent news

Recently I feel sleepless, painful, and abrupt because I couldn't find anything pleasant to do. I wanted to work but was rejected numerous times. Then I tried to think about dancing again but was overwhelmed by so many unpleasant thoughts in my mind that I eventually refused to dance. In conclusion, I think this short week of vacation wasn't as pleasant as I expected. Although watching the World Cup was a very exciting thing, I still felt grieved deep down inside.

As I said before, I did not take any recent photos of me because I'm trapped in the same lame location that there's NOTHING WONDERFUL TO TAKE A PHOTO OF. However, my upcoming trips to China should be a memorable, exciting, pleasant time this year! I hope that I can make the best time there.

Last thing, I found a very graceful, agile dancer @ this video: http://video.sina.com.cn/v/b/29472621-1506771924.html
Watch it if your interested in dance! Later!

终于完成了 Vacation time is here

My coursework has finally came to an end on Monday. I had my last Final Exams on Monday & it was pretty simple and fun. Now I need to wait to take my summer class unfortunately because I still need 1 more module to complete the degree. I know this is a bummer because I should already finished with this the requirements for the degree by now. But I think doing a class in the summer might be easier than the regular semester course. Anyways, now I will enjoy my short 2-week vacation then study again 'til the end of July.

Recently I haven't been taking many photos due to the fact that I've already took the same photos at the same locations in the previous years. But I did take 1 @ my former college Santiago Canyon College with a friend that I met in the previous year. It is beneficial to acquaint with more people at various locations. At any case, I will enjoy my summer shortly.
