中秋之夜; 牛津街10/3-10/4 Moon Festival Night; Oxford street

It was Chinese Moon Festival on Sat. Night. My bud John & I decided to have supper together. We cooked a mini-hot pot! It was much easier than it looks; all we had to do what let the water boil then cook the meat slices. Of course, a person like me can't forget about the sauce that goes with it. So, I bought them and ate the lamb & beef slices. Tasted so good! Now, I also managed to eat moon cakes; that's the tradition for the Chinese Moon Festival. Unfortunately, I did not take photos on moon cakes; but those cakes are quite small and taste very sweet of course. Anyways, let me get to the photos.

The above 2 are from a shop on Oxford street in Central London; John took me there on Sun. and thought might be a shop spree for souvenirs and other items. So I bought some postcards for £1 which isn't that bad at all! Then, I took the photos on the phone booth and Big Ben's clock tower. I did not buy them however; I thought it would be a good idea to capture 'em in my camera rather than waste my valuable £. So I'm going to pass on this one.

Above 4: 1. Cheers to John & I on Moon Festival Night.
2. I'm about to taste my meat after cooking.
3. Simply dip the meat in the boiling water and wait 'til is cooked which should look brown.
4. Our ingredients for the cooking, quite simple don't you think? Only slices of beef/lamb, lettuce, and dried up noodles in which you have to soak it in water for 10 min. then cook it.
