Once again, more photos from August 2008! First one it's my good-bye photo with Promenade Dance Studio Owner and trainer Joe Way & Tricia Cendejas. The photo was taken on 8/26 so just one week before I left. I said my temporary good byes to Joe&Tricia by taking a good photo in order to remember my wonderful times learning social dancing @ the studio. I'll be back sometime later...

The next 3 are all beach photos; the 2 in the middle are the cloudy day sunset photo @ Crystal Coves on 8/27. I like the first one of the two because it illustrates a background of nothing but the vast sea. What a majestic view! The last photo was me fixing my hair wearing sunglasses; it seems like a trend now for people to wear 'em in this season. I still enjoyed watching seagulls fly and walking in the sand.

Three of my August photos; first one it's me in my room self-timer mode photo. Next it's my former counselor of Santiago Canyon College(SCC)& me taking a splendid photo especially with me all dressed up. The last one it's me at Crystal Coves State Park on a cloudy night. I love hanging out alone or with true, caring friends @ the beach.

A new life, a new me!

Glad to be back from my home town 沈阳，China. I really loved my trip there. My most beloved memory was the park that dad and I went to. It was absolutely a serene august view! I loved every moment of it! The paralympics went well too; I remember watching the Chinese handicapped athlete going up the ropes and light the torch. That was phenomenon! The best was the Moon Festival program on September 14; the moon was quite full and exhibits an illuminating glow! We ate moon cakes as a result for the celebration of a fruitful fall! My experience in China was fascinating! I truly felt I was loved by my own people!!

Here we have more of my August photos of my album; the first one it's Katelyn and I again making a waltz pose on August 12, 2008(my birthday, belated actually)

Then I took a photo on Balboa Island @ night after my group class(August 19, 2008). I really love the shops on the island, especially the ice cream, dessert stores. It's always a great idea to assuage your thirst after a long hot day in the summer.

This photo it's a self-taken photo of me on Balboa Island the following day(August 20, 2008). I guess I had no idea on where to place my camera so I can take an auto-photo instead of the so-called "Myspace" self-taken photos. Anyways, I love the scenery as always and the sunset view on lovely Balboa Island!
This one I took it with the auto-timer function on my cam; I simply placed the camera on the postal box and ran to my spot. I know it's kinda far but at least I did it without anyone's help or using the"Myspace" style. I love the burgundy t-shirt; it represents my honors society of Saddleback. I was involved in Psi Beta, a 2-year honor society of psychology.

This photo delineates the friendly aspects of dancing. Oksana Kalinuka is my new private social ballroom dancing instructor @ Avant Garde Ballroom, the original location of Promenade Dance. Ever since Joe received his certificate to teach at a new studio, he moved away to his home studio. But that didn't stop me from attending classes here. So I decided to sign up a class.

I really enjoyed this class too because Oksana it's an excellent instructor; here are key points I need to work on while dancing waltz: shoulders NEVER move up or down, ALWAYS step on the heels of the foot when stepping forward and toes when stepping backwards. Cannot lean against the ladies(that would consider falling on top of the world). Finally, using my shoulders as well as my knees to send the step and lead the lady to turn with me during a waltz. Very versatile advice indeed!

August photos

The photos that I took on my 20th birthday again; the first one it's familar, that's Katelyn and me waltz posing on my birthday party @ Promenade Dance Studio. That day was the best moment this year thus far! I never experience such a passionate, caring people to celebrate my birthday! I especially would like to thank Joe Way, the owner of Promenade for arranging the announcements! He truly made my life 100 times better!


This photo it's the important guest month of August! It was definitely an excellent idea to invite friends, family members to Promenade and let 'em know what social dancing it's all about! Unfortunately for me, none of my friends were interested no matter how much I flatter them. So that's too bad for them.

September& August 2008 photos!!

The first one it's on my 20th Birthday(August 11, 2008). I was standing very rigidly and posed as a body of a dancer.

The next photo it's me sitting at the piano getting ready to playing a soothing melody. The following photos I just simply playing the piano. Finally the last photo it's a photo that I forgot about; that's me at Santiago Canyon College's commencement with me introducing my spot and personal messages on the hall of fame. I was a President's Scholar who's transferring to UCLA! Very exalting indeed!

Here are 3 more photos. The first one it's at Promenade Dance Studio's Graduation Showcase; I took a photo with Mandy, the hot skilled deft Latin Dancer and her sister Monica! Both of them are very glamourous that day. If your reading this Mandy, then Thank You for making my day truly a wonderful one!
The next one it's my graduation transfer letter photo from Santiago Canyon College; I was accepted into UCLA's College of Letters and Sciences. It wasn't easy for me to achieve such accomplishments so a pat on the back for me!
The last photo it's my transfer staff Song Le and I after the commencement ceremony. I was very ebullient to take a last photo to commemorate all the sanguine times that I had @ SCC! This is definitely a land of opportunity that would fulfill my goals and endeavours!!!!!!

These photos are from 2008; the 1st one is Tricia Cendejas, my social dance trainer and advisor. She helped me to execute florid, sassy, flirty, yet professional movements in Latin Dance. She's definitely a charmer! Next it's my photo with a haircut, I think I look fine but NOT as handsome as when I had my hair. The 2 juxtaposed photos are my favorite one in May 2008; that day was raining and I decided to take a raining photo with my green(my favorite color btw) umbrella. I looked fascinating in my outstanding Ralph Lauren shirt and formal trouser.

I feel very ecstatic today! I've accomplished many of my assigned duties and feel very complacent with my fine work! So I'll reward myself later tonight by taking a promenade @ the beach!

New Photos from 2007!

Here are some of the photos from August 2007 to December 2007. The 1st one on top is taken @ home on November 7, 2007. The next one it's on the second floor of my room. Then Heather Neville, a dance coach of OC All Stars with me @ the showcase of OC Cheer & Dance Competition. Next it's New Year's Eve (December 31, 2007) photo with me dressed in Ralph Lauren. Next, my dance teacher Diedre and I @ the final class of Saddleback College. Then it's my 19th birthday photo which I took by myself with no one's help. Finally, it's my Saddleback College Fountain pose! I love it!

Here are some of my past year's photos. The very first one was me and the other girl, she's actually Danielle Savre, the main actress of Kaya and a character in Bring it On All or Nothing. That photo was taken on the night of my 18th birthday(Aug. 11, 2006). I was not as fashionable as of now or maybe the same. The second one when me drinking Jamba Juice was also taken when I was 18 in September 2006; I looked funny and charming in a way. The next one was when I was 17 on New Year's Eve 2005. I wore the OCHSA shirt because back then I was a passionate aspirer of OCHSA! So it was awesome to be talented! Then the fourth photo is when I was 18 again on New Year's Eve 2006; I had long hair back then and looked handsome(at least someone liked me back then). The final photo is when I was 16 in August 2004 at the high Sierra Mt. in Lakeshore. I loved camping back then and it's still my hobby as of now!
